Kenmore OSHC is a community-based service, owned and operated by the Kenmore State School P & C Association. Kenmore OSHC is an approved education and care service that provides before school and after school care, and vacation care for families of Kenmore State School.
Our program is founded on play-based learning and leisure, with children's interests and collaboration being a central focus of the activities and experiences offered. Our educators are welcoming and work collectively to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and families.
Children may attend either casually (subject to availability) or be booked for regular pattern of attendance.

Hours of Operation
- Before School Care (BSC): 6:45am to 8:50am – Breakfast Included
- After School Care (ASC): 3:00pm to 6:15pm
- Vacation Care (VC): 7:00am to 6:00pm
Fees
The service is approved for child care subsidy. For parents eligible, the subsidy can be applied to fees.
- Before School Care: $17.50
- After School Care: $23.50
- Vacation Care and Pupil Free Days: $56
- Excursions and Incursions for vacation care may attract additional costs. Please refer to the program for these.
- Late Collection Fee*: $20 for the first 15 minutes and $1.00 for each minute per child thereafter
- Cancellations for BSC and ASC is 3 Business Days
- Cancellations for Vacation Care is 5 Business Days
- All fees are excluding the Child Care Subsidy. To determine your eligibility, please visit Services Australia.
*not eligible for Child Care Subsidy (i.e. out of pocket fee reduction)
Enrolments
My Family Lounge (MFL) is both a web-based portal and an APP for smartphones and tablets where families can manage their enrolment, update their details and change their bookings. Simply use your email address to log in. Existing families will use the email address previously supplied to the service – just reset your password on the app or portal.

Download the app from the Apple/Play Stores onto your smart phone/tablet.
What can I do in the My Family Lounge APP (for smart phones and tablets)?
- View existing bookings
- Make casual bookings for BSC /ASC / Vacation Care
- Mark casual bookings absent
- Mark permanent bookings absent
What can I do in the My Family Lounge Web Based Portal (for computers and tablets)?
- Enrol into Kenmore OSHC
- Request changes to permanent days your child is booked in (ASC/BSC)
- Update children's enrolment forms, medical information, dietary requirements, emergency contact details and more.
Bookings:
- All families enrolled in Kenmore OSHC can make changes to their permanent bookings via the MFL Web Portal (computers or tablets). All families enrolled in Kenmore OSHC can book in for additional casual care days by using the MFL App (smart phones or tablets).
- For absences - 3 business days are required to avoid being charged for BSC and ASC and 5 business days for Vacation Care – absences are to be notified using the 'My Family Lounge' App.
Note: you cannot mark children absent on the My Family Lounge Web Portal
